I agree completely. You have to make certain all the plaque and tarter is removed which includes above the gum line also. So far my vet has given both Sadie and Rusty the thumbs up on their teeth. However, they only take care of the visible surface of the teeth.  Any plaque above the gum line is still there and can cause major problems.  Don&#039;t be lulled into a false sense of security just because your dogs teeth look good.</description>
